Leadership in MTSS program

MSU is preparing leaders within their schools to build upon the strengths of their school community and transform their systems-level decisions to equitably improve student achievement, graduation rates, and social skills for all students. Enroll in this fully online certificate program or masters’ degree program to have an impact on all tiers of your school’s reading, math, writing, and social behavior systems.

Dr. Truckenmiller designed and teaches the survey course (CEP 809) and the capstone course (CEP825) in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. Dr. Truckenmiller draws on her experience coaching large urban districts to implement Positive Behavior Interventions and Support; her experience with state-level reading assessment and instructional supports; and her research expertise in data-based decision making and evidence-based practices.

No matter where schools are in their implementation of MTSS, education professionals enrolled in the MTSS program learn equitable, inclusive, and evidence-based systems-level practices and receive consultation from experts at MSU to implement and evaluate their practices for effectiveness and equity.
